Christmas Poetry

You are warm,
We are cold.
You are free,
We have been sold
You take your fill,
We wait to be fed.
You sleep in peace,
We fear to wake up dead.
You celebrate Christmas,
But we celebrate only Christ.
You are unhappy with gifts,
As we pray for daily rice.
So Merry Christmas,
We hope that you are well.
Heaven on earth to you,
From those in earth’s own hell.
